Private Chocolate Truffle Masterclass


Our truffle making masterclasses are lead by our master chocolatiers and are ideal for any celebration such as:

We are the only chocolatier outside of London to offer full chocolate experiences in a working chocolaterie for groups as small as 1 to 15. Unlike other experiences we use only our high quality ingredients for your experience.You will experience a range of skills from piping, rolling, filling and dipping ganache as well as tempering your own chocolate by hand all in a relaxed and casual environment. All topped of with an indulgent chocolate fondu feast and prosecco.

Product Description

We do experiences for 1-15 people at our chocolaterie, any time before 7pm. The price is £50 per person with a £150 minimum charge per event. i.e. 1-3 guests £150 Total, 4 guests £200 Total.  The experience is 2 hours long and will include only your guests for added privacy you can even book when we are closed.

Please note a bookings is not made until it has been confirmed by us and full payment must be paid at least 4 weeks before the event. All participants must sign our AWRL upon arriving.

The schedule is normally:

1. Introduction – Introduction and single origin chocolate tasting sessions with tasting notes and a brief talk about chocolate. You can choose to be a dark or milk chocolate experience, we can do white but do not recommend it, parties get sick of too much white chocolate.

2. Experiences – Truffle making masterclass where you can dip, roll and pipe ganache in groups of 2-4, temper some chocolate by hand and decorate your truffles. You can take home up to 15 truffles you make in a presentation box.

3. Chocolate Feast – Guests get Prossecco and a fondu kit to dip foods into and just chill and choc-out to the max.

4. Gifts – Each guest gets their own truffles in a special gift box.

5. Photographs and goodbyes

Everyone gets 10% off anything they order instore to eat there or take with them or collect at a later date.

Just a heads up that this is a working chocolaterie and we may be making actual chocolates and serving in the shop if booked during opening hours. If you are a company or have more than 15 people we can hold it at your own venue at anytime (conditions and fees apply please contact us)

Most orders received before 2pm (GMT) will be ready for collection or shipped for delivery sameday. Please note you cannot collect and we cannot process orders outside our opening times.

Order Dispatch

Some custom orders, very large orders and large gift boxes may take longer especially during our busy period. In these cases it can take up to 3 working days to dispatch orders. Busy Periods are 4 weeks before Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and Easter and 2 weeks before Valentines day, Mother’s day, Father’s day, Eid and Diwali.

UK Free Delivery

We may at times offer FREE UK DELIVERY. Please note that orders being delivered to multiple addresses do not qualify. Delivery is made using our cheapest service. Please note you cannot collect and we cannot process orders outside our opening times.

Whilst most of our products can be sent overseas, occasionally there are a few exceptions whereby local customs restrictions are in place. Typically this will affect products containing alcohol or liquids. If appropriate, we will try to make you aware during checkout or otherwise after placing your order. However, it is completely your own responsibility to be aware of and to only order what is permitted with regards to your local laws and customs. The Chocolate Quarter is not responsible for any fees, fines, taxes, duties or additional charges incurred after postage such as by national customs or governments. Refunds are not possible on orders that have been refused by customs, damaged/destroyed by customs or a returned for any reason including incorrect postage details or because they remain unclaimed. If your item is returned to us you may contact us to arrange re-posting for a repeat delivery charge. These orders cannot be refunded due to the perishable nature of our product.

Delivery Conditions

Any displayed delivery dates shown on the Order Confirmation are indicative only and will dependent on the courier services’s performance, when you actually placed and paid for your order. We cannot 100% guarantee to deliver your goods on the dates requested as adverse weather conditions or problems with goods carriers or internet services may affect delivery dates. However, we will do our best and will try to contact you if we are aware of any issues which may affect your delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for delayed or unfulfilled deliveries as a result of incorrect delivery address or incorrect contact details being entered when you place your order. Deliveries to offices, businesses and hospitals may take longer to reach recipients. This may be due to signed for packages being distributed via a mail room.

In the event that your order is returned to us for any reason such as being undeliverable or being unclaimed you may contact us to arrange re-delivery, for a repeat delivery charge. We will not be able to contact you to inform you or to arrange re-delivery if this is the case. These orders cannot be refunded due to the perishable nature of our product and will be destroyed 2 weeks after arriving with us or if they become unsafe for consumption. In such cases we cannot offer a refund or re-delivery, unless due to our own labelling error.

In certain circumstances an order consisting of many multiple items, with a very high total weight or volume (i.e. >10kg) and orders incuring delivery surcharges may incur additional courier charges. Where such charges apply, we may contact you with a revised delivery price and you will have the option to cancel your order if you wish.
